AAIMT Offers Two Programs This Fall
Classes Start August 27th, 2015. Why not join us?
After almost a quarter century in massage education, AAIMT added a new program in February 2015. Not only are we still offering our popular Therapeutic Massage Program, but additionally we now offer a Sports Massage & Personal Training program. The Therapeutic Massage program is for individuals who want to focus on Medical Massage, clinical massage and pain management. The Sports Massage & Personal Training program is for individuals who want to focus on the athlete, be certified in Sports Massage and also have a Personal Training certificate from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). What are the differences in the two programs? Click here to request our Program Differences chart. This first step will lead you to more important information about what AAIMT has to offer and why you should choose one of our COMTA accredited programs!
NEW Personal Training Student Clinic!
We now offer One Hour Personal Training Sessions August through September. You can expect the same quality of service and dedication offered in our Massage Student Clinic. Schedule your appointment online or by calling 734-677-4430. Our Personal Training Student Clinic is located within the Thrive Martial Arts & Fitness Center at 5060 Jackson Road, just 2 miles west of AAIMT.
Have your Michigan License yet?
All massage therapists in Michigan are now required to have a Michigan massage therapy license in order to practice. If you are an alumni of AAIMT you are no longer able to use the "grandfathering option" to acquire your license after November 29, 2014. Since this date has passed, applicants are now required to take a licensing exam. Please visit our website here for application information and instructions.
