Have your Michigan License yet?
All massage therapists in Michigan are required to have a Michigan massage therapy license by November 29, 2014 in order to practice. If you are an alumni of AAIMT you will not be able to use the "grandfathering options" to acquire your license after November 29, 2014. If you do not have your license by November 29, 2014, you cannot practice massage in Michigan until you get your license. After this date, applicants will be required to take a licensing exam. November 29th, 2014 is not the application deadline, it is the deadline to have your license in hand. The processing time for applications can be several months. Please visit our website here for application instructions.
