AAIMT Now Offering Two Programs!
We are excited to share that AAIMT is now offering two massage programs. Not only are we still offering our Therapeutic Massage program, but additionally we are now offering a Sports Massage & Personal Training program. The back bone of both programs is based upon our very successful Therapeutic Massage program. The Therapeutic Massage program is for individuals who want to focus on Medical Massage, clinical massage and pain management. The Sports Massage & Personal Training program is for individuals who want to focus on the athlete, be certified in Sports Massage and also have a Personal Training certificate from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Job Outlook! According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the projected job outlook for Massage Therapists is expected to grow by 23% from 2012 to 2022.

Have your Michigan License yet?
All massage therapists in Michigan are now required to have a Michigan massage therapy license in order to practice. If you are an alumni of AAIMT you are no longer able to use the "grandfathering option" to acquire your license after November 29, 2014. Since this date has passed, applicants are now required to take a licensing exam. Please visit our website here for application information and instructions.
